SERMON Based Questions

Theme: Radical restoration

Devotional Questions

Read Luke 5:12- 16

  • The leper fell on His face. Have the results of sin and suffering ever brought you to your knees in brokenness?

  • How should the process of Jesus saving our souls, regularly bring us to our knees in dependence on His grace and healing?

  • Jesus told the leper to show proof of his healing to those who did not yet follow Jesus. This week share your current story of how Jesus is healing you with someone who does not actively follow Jesus.

  • Even Jesus needed time alone to talk, listen and draw power from the Father. How can you make time alone with God a greater priority? Do it!

Group Questions

  • Share with the group a difficult person and/ or situation you are in, and discuss how you Jesus can use you in that situation according to His grace and power.

  • Discuss and plan a Gospel centered mission project. Make it personal.

Radical Restoration!  Luke 5:12- 16

Vv. 12- 14

The first step toward healing is realizing I am sick.

Do I have a story of healing?

The time for silence is over. Now you must shout from the rooftops that Jesus totally heals! Matthew 10:26- 27

Vv. 15- 16

God is calling me to go share my story of radical restoration with people everywhere.

The only way I will be able to carry the burden of loving people is to draw power through prayer and time alone with God.
